The Honey Bay Promise

Honey Bay is committed to helping support and preserve the honey bee population and to supporting local beekeepers. We promise to bring the highest quality honey bee products to this Virtual Farmers Market. We do this by offering this “love connection” services at extremely low fees and by promoting artisan honey and hive products.   Honey Bay gives back to the community through beekeeping workshops, school programs, and beekeeper mentoring programs.

What does this mean to you?

Honey Bay will do our best to ensure you are getting the highest quality honey products. As beekeepers we know the important questions to ask to ensure you are getting the real deal honey and not some water-down, sugar-syrup diluted version of honey flavored sugar.

“Keep our hands out of the honey pot.” We encourage our beekeepers to use the least amount of handing as possible. No heating, filtration, additives, or anything removed. Raw means raw! The honey is generally passed through a screen that removed some of the larger pieces of wax and any hive debris that might have been in the hive and knocked off during extraction of the honey. This is different that filtering that removes nearly all the natural goodness!

Our goal is to offer you honey and hive products straight from the hive to you. The least amount of processing as possible. The bees have done all the work that needs to ‘bee’ done.
